PM NGIRENTE JOINED RUBAVU DISTRICT RESIDENTS FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE 29TH ANNIVERSARY OF RWANDA’S LIBERATION
Rubavu, July 04, 2023---Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente joined Rubavu District residents, for the celebration of 29th Liberation Day marked by inaugurating various development projects, especially the Rugerero Integrated Model Village.
In his remarks, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families affected by the recent floods and landslides in some parts of the Western and Northern parts of the country, assuring them of the Government's continued support.
On Rugerero Integrated Model Village, Prime Minister noted that it is just one of the many activities inaugurated across the country as part of Liberation Day. He revealed that it is a special gift from President Paul Kagame to the people and urged beneficiaries to take care and preserve the facilities.
The Premier acknowledged the remarkable achievements of the past 29 years and insisted on the importance of sustaining and accelerating them.
In this regard, the Premier reminded the gathering that liberation is a continuous process and that it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that the current achievements are sustained.
He called upon Rwandans to work collectively in safeguarding development achievements in education, agriculture and other key sectors.
