PM Ngirente officiated the closing ceremony of the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF)
Kigali, July 7, 2023-- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente officially closed the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF) that was taking place in the Kigali Marriott Hotel form 6 to 7 July 2023.
In his remarks, Prime Minister commended the sovereign investors in Africa for the decision to strengthen their institutional cooperation through ASIF.
He recalled the important role of African Sovereign Wealth Funds in developing an efficient and diversified economy through equitable diversification and generation of wealth for future generations.
The Premier also congratulated Ethiopia and Mauritius for joining the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF) and encouraged other African countries to do so.
Prime Minister concluded his remarks by calling upon ASIF members to mobilize more capital and investment for Africa to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.
