PM NGIRENTE OFFICIATED THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE COMMONWEALTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONFERENCE 2023
Kigali, November 14, 2023-- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente officially opened the Commonwealth Local Government Conference 2023, that is taking place in the Kigali Convention Center from 14 to 17 November 2023.
In his keynote address, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of strengthening governance and decentralization, building resilience to local government so as to cope with emerging challenges and shocks as well as ensuring that youth are catered for in Commonwealth development plans.
