Premier Ngirente attended Lesotho’s bicentennial celebration and 58th Independence anniversary
Maseru, 04 September 2024 ---Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended, on behalf of President Paul Kagame, the Kingdom of Lesotho’s bicentennial celebration and 58th Independence anniversary.
This function took place at the Setsoto Stadium in the capital city Maseru.
On the margins of this anniversary, Prime Minister delivered a special message and gift from His Excellency President Paul Kagame to King Letsie III of Lesotho.
He also held a meeting with his counterpart Prime Minister Ntsokoane Matekane. During this meeting a General Cooperation Agreement was signed between the two governments.
It is important to note that Rwanda and Lesotho share cordial relations officially established in 1983.
