Premier Ngirente attends the inauguration of the President-elect in Madagascar
Antananarivo, 16 December 2023 --- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended, on behalf of President Paul Kagame, the inauguration ceremony of Madagascar’s President His Excellency Andry Nirina Rajoelina.
This function took place at the Mahamasina Barea Stadium in the capital city Antananarivo.
Various Heads of State and Government also attended this ceremony. These include President Azali Assoumani of Comoros and AU Chair; Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe; Joao Lourenço of Angola, Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique, Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau, Prithvirajsing Roopun of Mauritius, Vice-President of the Seychelles Ahmed Afif and Prime Minister of Tanzania, Kassim Madjaliwa.
After the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister was received by President Rajoelina, at the Iavoloha State House and delivered to him a special message and gift from H.E President Paul Kagame.
Prime Minister conveyed H.E President's best wishes and reiterated Rwanda’s commitment to cementing excellent relations and cooperation with Madagascar.
