Prime Minister attended the International Development Association (IDA21) Replenishment Summit for Africa
Nairobi, April 29, 2024--- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente represented His Excellency President Paul Kagame at the International Development Association (IDA21) Replenishment Summit for Africa.
This Summit took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), in Nairobi/Kenya.
Prime Minister joined other Heads of State and Government in the opening plenary session as well as the closed session where discussions focused on the replenishment that would support transformational development objectives for the African continent and beyond.
It is important to note that this 21st replenishment of the International Development Association (IDA) from the World Bank is expected to increase concessional and grant financing to 75 of the world’s developing countries. Thirty-nine of these countries are in Africa.
