Prime Minister hosted a Gala Dinner in honor of the participants of the 2024 Africa Food Systems Forum Summit
Kigali, September 05, 2024---Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente hosted a Gala Dinner in honor of the participants of the 2024 Africa Food Systems Forum Summit. The evening also featured the Africa Food Prize Award Ceremony.
In his remarks participants, Prime Minister thanked former Heads of State and Government as well as all distinguished guests who participated in the Summit for their continued commitment to developing food systems across the continent.
He once again commended the leadership of AGRA for their outstanding leadership in advancing the food system transformation agenda in Africa.
The Premier also extended his appreciation to the Africa Food Prize Committee and congratulated the winner of this year’s award.
Prime Minister presented the 2024 Africa Food Prize Award to Mr. Tinotenda Mhiko, CEO of the Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA) of Zimbabwe, for his groundbreaking leadership and innovation in advancing food security through strategic irrigation initiatives.
