Prime Minister Ngirente attended the G77+China South Summit
Kampala, January 21, 2024—On behalf of His Excellency President Paul Kagame, Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended the G77+China South Summit.
This Summit took place at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, Kampala, Uganda under the theme: “Leaving No One Behind.”
In his statement, Prime Minister revealed that this theme resonates well with Rwanda's commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.
He noted that Rwanda commended the work accomplished by the Group and insisted that the journey ahead needs continued collective efforts.
The Premier also highlighted the importance of cooperation and collaboration as the core of collective efforts for a more prosperous world.
He also said that special consideration must be given to countries facing unique obstacles and their specific needs must be addressed on the path to sustainable development.
Prime Minister concluded his statement by recommitting to the ideals of cooperation, solidarity, and sustainable development.
