Prime Minister Ngirente held a press conference on current national economic status
Kigali, December 6, 2024: Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente held a press conference aimed at discussing the current economic status of the country and other key issues.
In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the media for their strong collaboration with the government, particularly in the implementation of NST1. He also urged them to continue playing an active role in NST2.
The press conference featured an engaging interactive session where media members asked various questions. Topics ranged from recent pension reforms and the pending Minimum Wage Order to the depreciation of the Rwandan currency, the resignation of some local government officials, the recurring issue of Genocide ideology, and Rwanda's relations with the DRC.
