PRIME MINISTER NGIRENTE OFFICIATED THE LAUNCH OF THE 2022 AGRF SUMMIT
Kigali, March 3, 2022- Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente officiated the launch of the 2022 African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) Summit, which is due to take place from 5th to 9th September 2022. This ceremony was organized by the AGRF secretariat in collaboration with the Government of Rwanda and took place at Kigali Convention Center.
In his keynote address, Prime Minister highlighted various commitments made by the Government of Rwanda towards transforming the agriculture sector. He also stressed the importance of partnerships between the Government of Rwanda and the private sector in advancing Africa’s agriculture and food systems.
The Premier noted that the upcoming AGRF Summit will be held under the theme of “Grow, Nourish, Reward – Bold Actions for Resilient Food Systems”.
He mentioned that Rwanda looks forward to hosting and welcoming all delegates to the AGRF 2022 Summit.
