Prime Minister Ngirente presided over the 8th Graduation Ceremony of the Rwanda Polytechnic
Kigali, May 29, 2025: Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente attended the 8th Graduation Ceremony of the Rwanda Polytechnic. This ceremony took place at BK Arena.
In total, 4,562 graduated in different programs including the second cohort of 1,416 who were awarded Bachelors of Technology degrees (BTech).
In his remarks, the Premier congratulated all the graduates, for successfully completing their studies and encouraged them to apply their skills and make a positive impact on their community and contribute to Rwanda’s national development.
The Prime Minister also commended the Ministry of Education and Rwanda Polytechnic for the newly introduced programs in various technical fields.
He also thanked parents and urged them to continue supporting their children as they start their professional career.
Prime Minister reiterated Rwanda’s commitment to supporting Rwanda Polytechnic to ensure that it remains responsive to labour market dynamics.
He concluded by commending the contribution of various partners in promoting technical skills. In this regard, he emphasized that the Government will continue strengthening this collaboration to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for the evolving labour market.
