PRIME MINISTER PRESENTED TO PARLIAMENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NST1
Kigali, 05 June 2024---Prime Minister, Dr. Edouard Ngirente, presented to the Rwandan Parliament, both Chambers, achievements in the implementation of the National Strategy for Transformation/NST1(2017-2024).
In his presentation, Prime Minister started by noting that activities planned in the National Strategy for Transformation (NST1) have been achieved at a satisfactory rate.
The Premier presented achievements in key sectors of Rwanda’s economy focusing on agriculture, infrastructure, industry, education and health.
He pointed out that some of the set targets were not attained as planned especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, global economic and climate shocks. He committed that these will be given a priority in the second phase of the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2).
